This assessment will be difficult for most managers! In fact, nearly 75% of respondents will feel either uncomfortable or frustrated as they work through this assessment. The main reason for this is that most managers never think about how significantly color impacts the workplace, therefore, discounting the potential importance color plays in human productivity and effectiveness.

Research suggests that color has a significant impact on human productivity. Based on the idea that every color has a subliminal influence on us, those around us and our environment, this assessment is based on the research that has evolved around color therapy and the effect color has on our work relationships, environment and the way in which we express ourselves at work and how others perceive us at work.

As you answer each of the following questions, you will select a color to represent your answer. After each question you will find a descriptor that may prove helpful in defining how you select your color answers. Don’t over-think your answers; go with your “gut” feeling as you quickly move through the assessment questions.
